Hello
Here's a Bit About Me
As soon as I learned to read, write, and what a VHS was, I was obsessed with stories. They became my entire life. I lived and breathed the tales of magical kingdoms, far away galactic empires, and alternate universes full of superheroes. My passion for stories took me on my own adventure to become a writer, copywriter, story editor, and filmmaker.
I started my journey at the University of Minnesota where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts for Journalism and Strategic Communications. After graduation, I had the opportunity to work as a copywriter, copy editor and content creator/manager. However, I was still curious. How could I write stories like the ones I grew up with?
So, I moved to Toronto, Canada, where I graduated with a Diploma for Screenwriting for Film and TV. I had the opportunity to further develop my craft, sharpen my abilities for collaboration, story development, and creative thinking, and explore an incredible entertainment industry. I also had the privilege to create, write, produce, and direct my own short film called Dearly Beloved as my thesis project. Now, while I continue to work on my own personal projects and endeavours, I also volunteer for the Austin Film Festival as part of their script reader's team!
After six years of education, the most important lesson I've learned is that stories can change lives. They can connect people to each other, to missions and organizations, and to the tools they need to build a better future for all of us.
My Mission
Whether through copywriting, screenwriting, or filmmaking, my mission is to create stories that connect audiences to other people, services, and products which enhance their lives and help them reach their full potential.
Please Note
I am open for work in both the U.S and Canada.
