The Pitch Package
I created this story as part of my TV Writing class at Toronto Film School. We covered the traditional structure for TV Movies, or MOWs, and the goal was to create are own stories fit for the genre.
As a fan of Christmas movies for many years, I decided to write my own -- except with a lot more representation.
There's a growing demand for LGBTQ+ Rom-Coms, and with broadcasters shifting their content goals to meet their audience's demands, I pitched Toying with My Heart to the Hallmark Channel (my prof Dave pretending to be Hallmark).
